Kiley's Field Day

Kiley had field day at school on Friday. She had a blast. She is very athletic and competitive, like her father, unlike me. Her favorite part had to of been tug-of-war, she just wouldn't give up, oh and of course the blue snow cones, which she wore evidence of the rest of the day on her face:)

Emma Grace's Dress Rehersal

Emma Grace is the girly-girl of the house. She will only wear dresses and constantly looks for her "princess crown". I am not sure where she came from because I was a TOM-BOY (ask my mom) and Kiley seems to be so too. So, last fall I thought dance would be her thing, and sure enough it is. She loves dance class and almost everyday after we pick Kiley up from school and she puts her dance stuff on and dances for hours. Her dress rehearsal was this past week and I took a few pictures. She has her recital this weekend coming up. I can't wait to she my princess dance!

Memorial Day / Baby Shower

On Sunday my grandparents gave "Baby Lathan" a shower just for the grandkids. It was so cute. They each gave him a gift and did fun activities that my mom and grandmother had planned. It was so fun and I loved all the BLUE! Thanks you guys. Lathan is so lucky to have you guys as cousins and Great-Grandparents!

We followed the shower with a wonderful Memorial Day Celebration. What a great day! Check out the beautiful cake, my grandparents are famous for these cakes.

Pool Time!

Last week it got really HOT....I know I'm pregnant but believe me it was hot! I filled up the pool in our backyard. The girls thought it was the greatest thing ever.

Mother's Day

My entire ( well almost my entire) family on my mom's side met on Saturday night to celebrate Mother's Day. We eat dinner at 5 and then hung out at The Promenade. They have a live band every Friday and Saturday night. There is plenty of room to bring lawn chairs and let the kids run free! We had a blast. It was great to see all the family and celebrate this day with the women that mean the most to me. Happy Mother's Day!

Sorry, most of the pictures are of the kids...they are much more entertaining than a bunch of adults sitting in lawn chairs:)

Big People's Doctor's....

Well, today Kiley had her Appt. with the GI- Doc., everything went great. All her test came back good. He will just up her dose of acid reflux med. and see if that helps. Hopefully it will and we won't have to do the whole camera down the throat into the stomach thing....yikes that would be scary for my Kiley and me too!

I had a Dr's Appt. following hers' so I didn't have time to drop her off at school. Now, Emma Grace has been to the "Big People's Doctor's" (OB/GYN) and has sat there and not noticed much of her surroundings but Kiley on the other hand, she hasn't been to an OB Appt. with me since I was pregnant with Emma Grace. Wow, the questions asked, I never noticed the foot stir- ups, the LONG flash light attached to the exam table, the latest and greatest new visual forms of birth control, the long q-tip swabs that Kiley really wanted to play with, oh, and the wonderful diagram of the female body and internal female organs......oh, but Kiley sure did. The questions were endless and thank goddess all they did was measure my belly and listen to the heartbeat....ahhh, I think I will be finding a place for the girls to go, well at least Kiley, at my next "Big People Doctor" visits.
