The Blue Room

Well, I have a blue room in my house..I never thought I would, I never thought I would have a baby boy! I still need to hang the curtains and some other stuff on the wall but after all that work it is hard for me to put holes in the wall. I really have to think about the positioning of every item (I know I am crazy). Well now that he has a place to call his own, I can't wait for our baby boy! Oh, we have decided to stay put in our home for now. It is such a relief of stress.

Tagged

I was tagged by Kate....so 7 interesting facts about me.....

1. Well since I was tagged by Kate I will include her in my facts...we have been friends since we were 16...we lost touch after I graduated high school and then one day I was in the neighborhood park and up strolls Kate with 2 of her 3 kids (3 at the time Cash wasn't yet in this world and Kayla was in school) and now we are great friends once again and our kids love each other.

2.Like Kate I HATE dirty dishes in my sink and for that matter I hate for my house to be in any sort of disarray....this past week has really tested my stress level with moving Kiley into Emma's room and doing the nursery.....but it's all complete...Thank God and Ryan, he did alot of the work since I can't pick up heavy stuff. I love the nursery, I keep walking in it and absorbing the atmosphere (I will post a pic. later).

3.I hate it when people are mad at me, I just don't like it. I like everything to be okay with all relationships in my life.

4. I do not like change. I will keep the same routine as long as I can. Change is hard for me bad or good. We have had alot of it this past year. Ryan changed jobs (best decision we ever made), adding an addition to the fam...now that is in progress but the change has already presented itself (wonderful decision, just a lot of change to come), Kiley started school, I became a stay-at-home -mom! Well, all of these were big changes, all positive, so I guess change is good, I just wish I always new the out come.

5.I got married at the age of 19.....we are getting ready to celebrate our 7 year anniversary in April. I do believe in love at first sight. I just new Ryan was the one.

6.I went to college to do graphic design did it for 4 years and then being a mommy became my career of choice :)

7. I LOVE good southern Sweet Tea.....my favorite drink in the world.

I noticed everyone I would tag has been tagged.

YUCK....The Flu!

So last week Kiley woke up with a high fever, I had no idea what we were getting into. I took her to the Doctors and they did a strep test and a flu test....well she tested positive for the flu. They put her on Tamiflu and gave Emma Grace some because she was exposed. Kiley was well in two days, I would of never known it was the flu if I hadn't brought her in. The Dr. said since she had the flu shot and he was putting her on Tamiflu it should come and go pretty quick and it did. Well, on Monday night I started feeling horrible....high temp., body aches, cold, cough, everything on my body hurt. The Dr. called me in the Tamiflu but after researching it, I decided it wasn't "safe" for the baby in my belly. So, I had to just tough it out. I still feel a little achy and have a low grade temp. but feel a million times better than I have in the past 4 days. Hope everyone stays healthy.

19 weeks left!

So I am starting to freak...only 19 weeks left, it seems long but boy the first part of my pregnancy just flew by! Since our house is on the market I can't start doing things in the nursery. Unfortunately, I have been going baby shopping to make up for that. I can get such great winter deals for the baby for next fall/winter right now. I have been to Belk's, Gymboree, Gap, Childrens Place, Tj Maxx and of course Target, which I have purchased some type of clothing for "the baby". Ryan is about to kill me but it is my only way of preparing....I can't go in the nursery and paint or start to decorate. I am a planner so this is driving me CRAZY! We have thought about taking our house off the market, it is so stressful, I keep it spotless 24/7...I am literally making the beds with my family still in them! So, it probably would be some what tight if we stayed here but my mental state would be a lot better. Kiley can go in with Emma Grace (that was why we got bunk beds) and I can start preparing for this sooner than later arrival. Plus I really LOVE my house, it is just the way I want it(except the master bedroom, looks like the day we moved in) and the house we were looking at is new construction so there would so much work to make it mine, with a newborn and the 2 girls I could do it but it would just be a lot on my plate. So, now that I have vented I actually feel a lot better! I just need to remember God is in control and he might not answer on our time but he is never late!

It's a BOY!!!

I am so excited!!!!!!! It's a BOY!!!!!!!! I think all along I wanted a boy because I knew it was our last but I didn't want to be ungrateful and as long as it was healthy I was happy, but let me tell you when they said boy I was overwhelmed with excitement and joy! Ryan was overly joyful! He has always wanted a son. So thank you God for a healthy baby and a boy!

The Big Day!

So tommorow I find out what I am having.....I can't wait!!! I haven't been this excited about something in a LONG time! I go back and forth with boy or girl constantly. I thought for sure girl, until they did an ultra-sound at 12 weeks and thought they saw "something". I was still very doubtful because the babies sex organs are not suppost to develop enough to be able to tell until later on...so I guess we will see. I can't wait to shop. I stop at every store in the baby section and pickup blue and then pink and then yellow and then put it all back because I know it's better to just wait then have to return all this stuff. I am such a planner and I think that is why I need to know and want to start picking stuff up when I see a good deal. Well, I will let you know!

15 weeks Prego!

Well, I am cured!!!! I feel 180% better, I mean I still am a little nauseous but I can actually leave my bed!!! Yippee!!! I can't believe how the time has flown by, I need more of it. I will be 4 months on Monday. Only 5 more to go, that scares me. My life will be BUSY, I mean right now the girls are playing together and I can basically do whatever needs to be done. Still, I can't wait to hold a newborn.....oh, I just can't wait!
